About The Firm

Frost & Co. was founded in January 2004 by Mark B. Frost, who spent more than 25 years in corporate finance, investment banking and research with the following investment firms: Legacy Investment Group, Inc., Heritage Capital Advisors, J.J.B. Hilliard, W.L. Lyons, Inc., First Nashville Corp. as part of the Massey Burch Investment Group, Inc. and J.C. Bradford & Co.

After the consolidation, demise and disappearance of our countryʼs fine regional investment banking firms; entrepreneurs, emerging growth and middle market companies now have far fewer highly qualified, seasoned and experienced financial advisors to assist in accessing the private capital markets. With the great proliferation of many small, new investment banking shops in the wake of this sweeping investment banking industry consolidation, most new firms have chosen to focus almost exclusively on sell side, control sale M&A advisory services to the exclusion of capital raising advisory. While active in traditional M&A sell side advisory, the core focus of Frost & Co.ʼs investment banking and corporate finance practice is institutional equity, debt and mezzanine capital raising, typically for less than control ownership positions.

Frost & Co.ʼs commitment to entrepreneurs and the emerging growth and middle market is consistent and not affected by market changes and trends. Frost & Co. is not driven by whatever is the easiest way for an investment banker to make a buck in any given market conditions.
